All this time I was connecting my VM’s through my home wifi internet or my mobile hostspot internet (which is also wifi). Suddenly when I tried to start my VM I got this error message.

wireless network interface – 8265 is not found.

All this time I was connecting my VM’s through my home wifi internet or my mobile hostspot internet (which is also wifi). Suddenly when I tried to start my VM I got this error message.

wireless network interface – 8265 is not found.

As you can see in my VM I am using wireless network interface.


Due to restrictions on my laptop (😊) My wireless adapter is disabled right now. I cannot start it even after multiple tries.

Now in order to access my VM again I need to do some changes in network settings.

Click on network

Select network adapter 2

After this change my network looks like this

Now try to start your VM. My machine is now ready to use without any significant changes.
