select add target manually option

click on add target declaratively

enter PROD node 1 full name and choose cluster database and add

now fill the required details

now add instances for this cluster database

while entering the details make sure to use fully qualified names name otherwise you will receiev this error. more details mentioned in known issue section at the end of this doc

ORA-20247: EMD_URL is invalid:  Cannot provide null emd url.

simlary add for 2 instance and at the end it should look like this

test the connection and it should be sucessful

review the details

once submit you should be able to see the status

Similarly we added DR instances.

Note that we gave different database system while adding but at the end it got added in TROY_SYSTEM automatically

once all completed you should be able to see this

you can go inside database system TROY_SYSTEM and see the dataguard configuration

you can also verify your dataguard configuration

known issues

while adding isntance i didn’t give fully qualified hostname

so i received this error while submitting the targets. Anyways this error message is no where relevant to the issue faced.
